What to see in Zagreb
Zagreb as the capital of Croatia contains many monuments, museums, churches and parks.
We certainly suggest that you visit the Croatian National Theatre, Zagreb cathedral and archbishop's palace, one of the most beautiful squares in central Europe Theatre Square, Art Pavilion Square Zrinjevac, prominent market Dolac in which are mixed styles of baroque and modern architecture, St. Mark's Square where is the church of St. Mark, which once had the status of the parish church and the parliament.
Nature lovers should definitely visit the park Nature Medvednica which has trails through the forest, mountain homes, historic monuments and a large number of recreational activities.
Also we suggest visiting the nature park Maksimir with Zoo, beautiful lakes and trails for walking.
In Zagreb, there are many museums and galleries and you will not get to visit all but we suggest visiting the Archaeological Museum, Ethnographic Museum, the Croatian Museum of Architecture, Croatian History Museum, Croatian Sports Museum, Hunter Museum,Museum Mimara, City Zagreb Museum and the Museum of Contemporary Art.
In Zagreb is also a large number of theaters and cinemas where you can watch a movie, some show, concert or ballet.
