City Savudrija is best known for its lighthouse, 36 meters high and is located on the westernmost cape of Croatia. The lighthouse was built in the 1817th year.
Arriving in Savudrija definitely worth visiting is Sipar, a settlement dating from the 800th year.
Not far from there is Stancija Grande, Villa of Fabris family, the Earls of Begliana in Friuli.
In the town of St. Peter zou can see prehistoric settlements from 1300 year. There are found the stone fragments from the 9 century.
In a small village Valfontane is the church of St. Lawrence older than 800 years. The church has a very special facade and bell tower from the 1597th year.
Zambratija is a place that was inhabited in prehistoric times as evidenced by many ruins and artifacts from the first centurie before Christ.
Not far from the port of Savudrija is a church built in the 11th century. In the church are three altars. The main show Virgin Mary with Saint John and Saint Peter's side. On the side oltaria the statues of the Virgin of the Immaculate Conception and Sacred Heart.
