Very well known events are the Rijeka Summer Nights which are held at various locations in the city of Rijeka in june and july.
In the week when they celebrated the feast of St. Vid is held one of the biggest gatherings of sailing the Adriatic, Regatta Fiumanka.

In Rijeka is a great number of museums and exhibition halls in which you can look at the various exhibitions and shows of old art.

Throughout the year and especially during the summer,in the theater Rijeka can view both local and foreign plays, concerts and ballet.

If you are a sports fan then it is Rijeka a true town for your vacation. In Rijeka is a large number of courts for basketball, tennis, football, handball and volleyball.
