Travel to Novalja with car

If you have entered Croatia from Zagreb best way is the highway Zagreb-Split. Starting from Zagreb to exit Senj and then local roads to the ferry line Prizna-Zigljen that takes you to the island of Pag.
Another way is to take the highway Zagreb-Split to exit Posedarje. Local roads will lead you to the bridge of Island Pag witch connect Island Pag with the mainland.

If you entered Croatia in Istria, with higway Ypsilon go to the city of Rijeka. From the city of Rijeka is highway going to Senj and Prizna where is a port with ferry line that leads to the island of Pag.

On the island of Pag there are local roads with which will arrive to Novalja.

Travel to Novalja with Bus

Zadar and Split are very well connected by bus lines with all major European cities.

Bus lines to Zadar and Split passes Prizna where is ferry line that will take you to the island of Pag.

On the island of Pag you can use the city bus or taxi to get to Novalja.

Travel to Novalja with Train

Traveling by train to Novalja is not recommended because of poor rail connections.

But if you still want the easiest option would be to travel with train to the city of Rijeka.

Rijeka is conected with major European cities with railway.

Than you can continue by bus to Novalja.

Travel to Novalja with Boat

The island of Pag is connected with the shipping lines and with ferry port Prizna.

If you want to travel by boat to Novalja, you can use a fast boat line that goes from Italy to Split.

The rest of the journey you can continue with bus or taxi to Novalja.

Another option is to travel with ship to the city Rijeka. From Rijeka drive catamaran line Rijeka-Rab-Pag.

Travel to Novalja with Plane

The nearest airport to the island of Pag and Novalja is situated in Zadar.

Zadar Airport is associated with a large number of European cities like Oslo, Edinburgh, Stockholm, Hannover, Berlin, Bremen, London, Dublin, Bruxxelles, Pisa ...

From the airport Zadar you can travel up to Novalja with bus, taxi or you can book airport transfer service.
