Gastro offer on Island Krk
On the island, you can try a variety of traditional dishes of meat, sea food and homemade cakes.
For starters, we recommend to try smoked ham and cheese.
For the main course, definitely try "Surlice", a dish of meat with lamb stew. If you prefer seafood for a main course offers a great number of Adriatic fish, octopus, cuttlefish, squid, lobster and world famous Kvarner scampi.
Krk Island is known for its quality wines, of which you must try Zlahtina, quality dry white wine. Besides Zlahtina is offered Istrian Malvasia, Draganela and Opacevina.
On the island of Krk was conducted an experiment placing champagne in morse at a depth of 30m, where the temperature is 12 degrees.
