Brac island is known since ancient times, the island of beautiful bays, olive groves, vineyards and the crystal clear water.
On the island of Brac is situated nine villages: Bol, Milna, Postira Povlja, Pucisca, Selce, Sumartin, Supetar and Sutivan.

Bol is the oldest settlement on the island and is very well known summer resort. Tourism in Bol still went with the Romans who built the villa rustica. Today, Bol is village with hotel complexes, apartments, high quality restaurants, clubs, diving, sailing, tennis, fitness centers.
In Bol definitely have to visit the most famous beach Zlatni Rat. From cultural heritage, visit the Dominican Monastery built in 1475th year. Be sure to visit the Dragon cave where is a small church from the 15th century.

Milna is a small town settled in the beautiful bay. In Milna you must see the stone fort Baterija, built by the French during the Napoleon. We recommend that you visit the church of Our Lady of the Annunciation built 1783rd, The Church of St. Mikula from 1844th, The Church of St. Nicholas from the 1844th year and Polace that is the ceremonial lodge with the square and the stairs.

Postira is fishing village and port of the island of Brac. In Postira be sure to visit Lovrecina areheological rich site of the Roman economy, and Mirje, where are the remains of a Benedictine monastery.

Povlja is a small village on the island of Brac, in which long time ago anchorage Roman galleys. Because of its agriculture, fisheries and viticulture, Povlja offers an excellent gastronomic offer. In Povlja is Povljanska listina which is the oldest document written in Croatian Cyrillic and dates from the 1250th year.

In the village Pucisca is a stone-masonry school that deals with the famous white stone of Brac. In addition to stone-masonry school you should visit the parish church of St. Jerome from the 1566th, The unique architecture of St. Duje church, Church of St. George and Kastili, a Renaissance building from the 1467th year.

Selca is a village located in the interior of the island of Brac. Selca is known to maintain a poetic manifestation Croativa rediviva. Selce is also known for sculptures of giants: Leo Tolstoy, Stjepan Radic, Hans Dietrich Genscher, Pope John Paul II., Franjo Tudman and many others.
Also you must visit the early Romanesque church from the 11th century, the Church of St. Nicholas.

Sumartin village was founded by refugees from the Makarska Riviera fleeing Turkish attacks in the 17th century. Today, Sumartin is tourist town with beautiful pebble and sandy beach  and with special local gastronomic delicacies. Be sure to visit the Franciscan monastery and chapel of St. Spirijun form the 18th century.

Supetar is the main port of the island of Brac and connects the island with the ferry lines with Split. In addition Supetar superb cuisine and accommodation offer, visit the beautiful beaches, monuments and numerous churches. Be sure to walk the Supetar Cove and if you arrive take a swim in the clear blue sea.

Sutivan is related to agriculture, fisheries and maritime affairs, so you can enjoy the home kitchen. Sutivan is also known for extreme sports festival "Vanka Regule“. During the summer in Sutivanu maintain many concerts, choir singing, fish nights, exhibitions, etc. Be sure to visit the nature park Sutivan in which there is also a zoo.
