What to see in on Island Korcula
On the island of Korcula are settlements: Blato, Brno, Cara, City Korcula, Lumbarda, Prigradica, Prizba, Pupnat, Racisce, Smokvica, Vela Luka and Zrnovo.
Blato is a smaller place on the island of Korcula. Zrnovo is a village 4 km from the town of Korcula and consists of the hamlet Prvo Selo, Kampus, Postrana and Brdo. The town is inhabited in the early Middle Ages, as evidence there are the remains of summer royalty. Be sure to visit the parish church of Sv. Martin from the 14 century, church of Sv. Deadline where maintains the traditional fencing game "Mostra". Nearby is the Church of St.. Vida from the 13th century, on whose front panel is the coat of arms and Latin inscription on the most prominent member of the family Jacob that lived in the 16th century and was known European humanist.
