Travel to Makarska with car

If you entered in Croatia from zagreb than the best way is to get on higway Zagreb-Split. From Split you have 60 km off half higway to Makarska.

If you entered in Croatia from Istria than we recommend to get on half higway Ypsilon to the city of Rijeka. From Rijeka you go on Adriatic higway that is going to Split. From Split is half higway of 60 km to Makarska.


Travel to Makarska with bus

Makarska is situated between Split and Dubrovnik, and Split and Dubrovnik are very well connected by bus lines with all major European cities.

If you have a bus line to Split, from Split you have every hour local bus to Makarska. You can also ferry from Split to Makarska or use taxi service.

If your line is going to Dubrovnik, your bus will stop in Makarska.

Travel to Makarska with train

The nearest train station to Makarska is situated in Split. Split railway station is 60 km from Makarska.

From Split you can take bus, ferry or taxi to get to Makarska.

Travel to Makarska with boat

From Italy there is a fast boat line that goes to Split in Dalmatia. From Split you can ferry, bus or use taxi service to get to Makarska.
