In Pula is worth to taste fish specialties of which dishes with rospo (monkfish), sea bass or a delicious stew made from Kvarner scampi and this is only a small number of delicacies on offer. In Pula should try also shells, thanks to the clear waters of a special taste dondole, Mussels, Scallops or Kanastrele. And oysters are excellent that it should be added just a little lemon.

As an appetizer Pula restaurants offer the right treat - Istrian ham, which is one of the most famous Istrian brands. Istrian ham is on special way of preparing and maturing and drought on the bora wind.

In Pula you should also try Manestra, the traditional thick soup whose main ingredients are potatoes and beans added to the pest (the preparation of bacon and garlic).

The influence of Italian cuisine in Istria is best felt through many kinds of excellent pasta that is offered in Pula. The most famous are the pasta
