Restaurant Kaštil Slanica is situated in the marvellous karst canyon of beautiful river Cetina, just 4 km from place where river mouths into the sea. Kastil Slanica is built on a several hundred years old walls in the middle of anciant beauty and peaceful nature.
Under the rule of Kačić dukes from 12th till 14th century, Kastil Slanica was safe refugee for famous Omiš pirates. After 14th century, when the Turks ruled over Omiš and Poljica neighbourhood, Kaštil Slanica was place where Omiš citizens and Turks used to trade salt, there from Kaštil Slanica got its name.
