How to get to Dubrovnik

Dubrovnik is one of the most attractive and famous cities of the Mediterranean. With its outstanding natural beauty and preserved heritage, Dubrovnik is a city with very rich tourist offer. Dubrovnik is a city of unique political and cultural history inscribed in UNESCO World Heritage Site. City that is attractive to visit at any time of year.

Travel to Dubrovnik with plane

Dubrovnik Airport is 20km away from city Dubrovnik.
Upon arrival, each flight has organized regular bus transport to Dubrovnik. When leaving, the bus leaves the bus station 1.5h before the flights with Croatia Airlines and Austrian Airlines. For all other regular flights, bus departs 2 hours before the flight from the bus station. Available throughout the day is also taxi service.

Travel to Dubrovnik with car

If you choose to drive then the recommended way is to follow the highway to Split.
From Split to Dubrovnik continue following the Adriatic coast road that closely follows the coastline.

Travel to Dubrovnik with boat

Dubrovnik ACI marina is open all year. Away from the entrance to the port of Gruz about 2 km and only 6 km from the old town. Has 450 berths and 110 boat places on land.

Dubrovnik is also linked with other Croatian ports and port of Bari in Italy. Dubrovnik has a daily boat connections from nearby islands (Kolocep, Lopud, Sipan, Mljet and Korcula, and seasoned with Lastovo). Marina is very well connected by regular bus lines to downtown.

In Dubrovnik city center is Bus station.

Bus station Dubrovik is very well conected with many European citys.

If you cannot find a bus ticket directly to Dubrovnik we recommend to buy a ticket to city Rijeka, Zagreb or Split. Than to use some local bus to continue your travel to Dubrovnik.
