Novigrads Lapidary is museum's collection of 93 stone monuments from ancient times to the early and late Middle Ages, one of the most important of its kind

in Croatia. The collection includes architectural elements (threshold, lintel, transennas, logos, etc.) and, for the most part, elements of liturgical

furniture (altar panels, parts of the ciborium, pilasters, capitals, etc.).

The parish church of St. Pelagius and St. Maxim is today basilica (till 1831. Cathedral) is the original form received in the early Christian period (V.-

VI.c), at the time of the Diocese of Novigrad.

Freestanding belfry of the parish church of St. Pelagius and St. Maximus was built in 1883. modeled on the bell tower of St. Mark's in Venice. At the top of

the pyramid tower is a statue of the patron, St. Pelagius, set in 1913. The statue is made of wood and covered with bronze plates.

Belvedere is the only lodge in Istria, situated near the sea. Probably she lay on the old structure of the fortification walls (towers). Probably built in

the XVI century and restored in 1860. and 1930.

Patrician palace was built around the 1760. year and was home of patrician family Rigo.

The walls of the crown gear are built in the middle of the XIII. Century and restored in different periods. Reinforced the round Renaissance towers, and the

former main gate stands an older four sided tower.

From churches, we recommend visiting the Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary from Caramel from 15. century, Our Lady of Mount Caramel in the 15th , and the

church of St. Anton from the Gothic period.
